Mark Kollar, owner of Kollar Wealth Advisors, LLC, a Registered Investment Advisory Firm, has been in the financial industry for over 35 years. Mark Kollar has been assisting senior investors for the last 29 years. In 1992, Mark became licensed with the National Association of Securities Dealers in Washington, D.C. to offer securities to the public. In 1995, Mark started Kollar Financial Strategies as a Registered Investment Advisory Firm that was registered with the Securities Exchange Commission in Washington, D.C. and now owns Kollar Wealth Advisors, LLC which is a Registered Investment Advisory Firm registered with the State of Illinois.
Mr. Kollar is a Certified Senior Advisor, LLC, a Registered Investment Advisor Representative, and also holds the rare Certified Estate Planning Professional (CEPP) designation. Mark has been personally trained in estate planning by the author of “The Living Trust” Mr. Henry W. Abts, III, who started the living trust revolution in the United States. Mark is a graduate and member of The Learning Institute for Financial Executives (309 members worldwide). Mark serves on the Board of Directors of Loyola Academy Sailing a 501(c)(3). He is also the founder and chairman of the Myositis Cup Golf Challenge benefiting The Myositis Association. Mr. Kollar resides in Northbrook, Illinois with his wife, Elaine, and three daughters, Margaret, Colleen, and Erin. Mark enjoys sailing and skiing with his family.
